Lost domain, transfer old website to new domain
-
We had the domain, http://www.chanstormfever.com and I create the site through Word Press.
When they tried to renew the site, they said the domain was taken. I am wondering if you are able to recover the word press side and link to a different domain?

Hi spicern,
I would be happy to help!
It is possible to recover the WordPress site, and map it to a new domain.
First, can you login to the WordPress site? If you are having trouble, check out the lost password form.
Next, your WordPress.com site must be upgraded to one of our plans to use a custom domain.
All of the plans come with a domain name!
A Personal Plan works, but you may want to check out the Premium Plan or Business Plan if you require more features.

Hi spicern –
chanstormfever.com was registered through GoDaddy and is in redemption per the whois search results. You will need to contact GoDaddy directly for help with recovering the domain since it was registered through them.
tryptc – It’s best to take a look at the whois search data when working with domains to verify whether or not it was registered through us. If it was not, then we can’t assist with the renewal/recovery process.
