lost draft

    Someone please help me. I have been typing a journal of a mission trip i was on. after i typed 1500+ words, i clicke on screen setting,, then back ( didn’t approve, change or anything and now all of my text is gone.

    Can someone help me with what to d?

    Such issues with drafts keep being reported, and WP has nothing to say about them.
    a) Check the Revisions module to see if there’s a previously saved version of the post. If you’re not seeing the Revisions module while on the post editor screen, click Screen Options (top right) to activate it.
    b) In the future avoid using drafts: when you start a new post, write a couple of words, set the visibility to private, publish the post, continue editing and updating, turn to public when finished.
    Or type your text in a word processor then copypaste it into the HTML editor.
