lost draft

    I lost my draft as I was typing. Is there an auto save feature anywhere on the site?

    Yes, however, it’s possible for the autosave to be overwritten under some circumstances right now.

    Before you do anything else, go to https://wordpress.com/post with the same browser you used to write the draft and check see if it offers to restore a post. If a restore button appears, that means a local copy was saved in your browser and you may be able to recover it.

    If a restore button does not appear when you start a new post, you can try checking for saved drafts at these locations:
    https://wordpress.com/posts/drafts
    https://wordpress.com/pages/drafts

    If you are logged in as the same username you were logged in as when you first wrote the content *using the same browser as before* and still cannot find it at any of the links above, it’s possible the content was never saved for some reason. I’m so sorry if that happened! To prevent problems like that from happening in the future, make sure to click the “Save Draft” button often when working on a draft.
