Lost Draft

  yesterday I created my best ever post. Saved throughout the day. decided to sleep on it so I could re read and post in the morning. now its gone. I’m devastated. the work free flowed from my head. I have no notes. Its not in trash, please please help me retrieve it. It has to be somewhere on a database. I saved and autosaved throughout the day. Please help me

  Thanks, I don’t have the most recent wordpress upgrade does that make a difference? I don’t have the setting revision screen that your showing.
  Should I try and upgrade now or will that definitely loose my draft?
  When I did try and upgrade I couldn’t get it to work so stayed with old version. Is this the problem. Please help I’m going crazy here.

  Its OK, I have started re writing the post in word this time!. I will copy and paste over into WordPress when I’m ready.
  I wont ever trust working directly in’wordpress again.
