Lost Draft

  I wrote a draft on my phone. I couldn’t find it on my computer so I went back to my phone and was able to find it there. I closed it thinking that I would be able to open it on the computer but now the draft as completely disappeared. I use an iphone 7plus updated to ios13.3.1. Any chance I could get this draft back?

  What was the title of the draft?

  Title was Self Love Jar. I re did what I could but I’m missing the information of the first draft. Yes I was using the IOS app.

  Oh so you have already modified the draft from your desktop, is that it? Or have you created a new one?

  I created a new one.

  The original one called self love jar was created on my iPhone. When I opened on the desktop, nothing showed up. So I went back to the phone to check all the information was there, it was. I closed the application, post still a draft and tried again to open on the computer. Only this time I saw the post had vanished. I tried to find it both on my phone and through the desktop with no luck. So I created a new post with a slightly new title “self care digital jar” but sadly I would still like the information I had on the original post.

  Thanks. Let me be sure I get it:

  – created a draft on your iPhone
  – opened WP on the desktop
  – The draft was not there
  – So you created a new one on the desktop with the same name
  – And now there’s no draft on phone or desktop?

  Let me know if I got that right. And if it is right, would you be willing to see if you can duplicate the steps with another test post?

  For what it’s worth, I don’t have an iPhone to test on so I’ve been reading information instead. I understand the iPhone app can save your drafts offline. That could explain it not synching to the Desktop and Web.
