  I have written, then published the same piece twice, but nothing but the title was published. Now, I can’t find the article I typed and don’t want to try a third time.

  Check if the original post was accidentally reverted to Draft by going here: https://wordpress.com/posts/drafts/

  Also check the Trash for the original post: https://wordpress.com/posts/trashed/

  WordPress.COM also saves upto 25 latest revisions of your posts, so check if you can find the post on the revisions.
