Lost Email for Login

  Hi everyone,

  I tried logging into my wordpress site and can’t remember which email I used to set up the website. How can I back track with WordPress to figure out which email address I used to set up the page?

  Before anyone here answers a support thread we confirm the URL starting with http:// of the site in question and where it is hosted.

  Please post the URL of the site you refer to every time you post to any support forum.

  Know that WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  You did not provide the URL of the site you refer to but you can determine whether it is a wordpress.COM hosted site or a wordpress.ORG software install and where it is hosted by typing the URL into http://www.whoishostingthis.com/

  Be aware that here at wordpress>COM we do not provide support for local installs of wordpress.ORG software, or for wordpress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, linked to wordpress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin so they display on the My Sites wordpress.COM account page.

  Hi there,

  You don’t have any sites on WordPress.com, so you are likely trying to log into a self-hosted WordPress site. To find out the email you used, you’ll need to look directly in the database by accessing your site’s PHPMyAdmin. You need to contact your hosting provider for help with accessing that.
