Lost emails due to nameservers being changed to wordpress's nameservers
-
I changed the name servers for my website (hosted by 1 and 1) to the wordpress name servers so that I could use my address (cerddora.com) as the address for my wordpress blog. However, this stopped me from receiving emails to my hotmail account ((email visible only to moderators and staff)). I have now changed the name servers back and am receiving emails again. BUT I have not received the emails that were sent to my (email visible only to moderators and staff) for the three days that I was using wordpress’s name servers. Do you know where those emails are?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Howdy,
When changing the nameservers over to WordPress.com, you can add the mail records via the Edit DNS page for the domain (direct link: https://cerddora.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=domains&action=dnsedit&domain=cerddora.com ).
You can add them now, so when changing them back over to WordPress.com, there will be no interruption in your e-mail service.
For the e-mail during that time period, some outgoing mail servers (those trying to send e-mails to your domain) would have retained the messages in an attempt to keep trying to send them through, while others would have sent an error back to the original sender. If the mail servers retained them, they’ll automatically be delivered.
If the server sent back an error message back to the original sender, then the original sender would need to resend the e-mail.
If you have any questions or need anything else, please let me know. Cheers!
