Lost followers

  When I was checking my blog, I noticed that I went from 450+ followers down to 113. Upon checking my stats, the followers that are listed are other Word press bloggers as well as a few email followers.

  Would you mind advising me as to where the other followers have gone? I am not sure if I did anything to affect this loss or if my followers are floating around in the blogsphere somewhere.

  Hi @talesfromthecabbagepatch, the total count includes Twitter and Facebook followers, too. Did you disconnect either platform or make a major change on either one? For example, folks will sometimes winnow down their Facebook friends list, and that could affect that stat.

  Thank you so much for your help! That is exactly what happened. I have reconnected both platforms and now my total followers count is back. Phew!!
