Lost font and colour functions
-
Hello, I have just applied the Baskerville 2 template over Twenty Seventeen. I had experimented with Baskerville 2 before i did it, and I seem to have lost Baskerville 2 functions that are available in my experimental site. The two most obvious are colour and font, but there are others related to layout.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Christine – are you referring to the site https://housing-alternatives.com/ with the WordPress.com Business plan? I’m seeing the Color palettes and Custom Fonts available there, so perhaps you’re referring to a different site?
If you have another site running on your own hosting with Baskerville 2, that could explain why you wouldn’t see the custom colours and fonts, as those are a feature specific to WordPress.com.
Just let me know if I can hep further.

Hello there. I’m using Dyad 2 template in my wordpress.com blog, and I’m now making the same blog at a propper domain. I’ve installed the same template, but the menu bar lacks color themes and font options. What am I missing here?

Forgot to mention the 2 adresses where I’m using Dyad 2 theme:
Current Blog, with fonts and color options

I inadvertently downloaded Baskerville rather than Baskerville 2. When I applied the correct template, it all worked as it should. Thankyou

cmkentau – Glad you’re all set!
marciosilvadesign – These forums are for sites hosted on WordPress.com, but you’re running the WordPress software on your own hosting. If you need further help with the self-hosted version of Dyad 2 or Dyad, feel free to post in its forum at WordPress.org:
https://wordpress.org/support/theme/dyad
You’ll need a free WordPress.org account to post – if you don’t already have one, you can register here:

Be sure to provide a link to your site when you post so people can help you more easily.
Keep in mind that custom colours and fonts are a feature built into WordPress.com. On a self-hosted site you’ll need to get that functionality through a plugin or other method. Feel free to post over there if you need further help.
