Lost formatting on Tesseract theme after WordPress upgrade

    I have a wordpress.com blog which I built (following Tyler Moore’s youtube tutorial) using Beaver Builder and running the Tesseract theme. When I upgraded to the latest version of WordPress my published posts suddenly turned into a tiny font and I lost all formatting, such as BOLD type. I also had problems with links, which threw out the text either side of the link. A full stop after a link was pushed several spaces away, for example. The formatting looks fine in both TEXT and VISUAL editor (at least to my untrained eyes). Please can someone suggest a way to fix this. I am not a code expert in any way. So please keep responses as simple as possible.
