Lost i tag needs closing- how do i find it?

Several of my posts are suddenly appearing in italics. I have seen other people comment that this has happened to them. One person’s problem was “There is an i tag that needs closing”. I must have 1 somewhere, how do i find it? I looked under the html on one post and it was fine. aaaaargh

It’s the “more” tags. Always put them on a separate line, not within a paragraph, blockquote, ordered or unordered list.

aw junk. do i need to change all of them? *sigh*
I just fixed one and that post is still italicized.

If you put a more tag within a large section of italicized text, you have to end the italics before the more tag, and start it again after the more tag.

In visual mode highlight all the wording and click the eraser icon and
it should clean up any lingering HTML -
