  hi. an image on my site has disappeared [i can send a screenshot] we’ve tried reloading the image, re-saving and renaming the file, saving and reloading it as a different file type, and redoing the gallery, all to no avail… can you help?

  Looking at the gallery there are a few tiles slower to load. This screen shot captures the one tile of the gallery that looks to be messed up. Please take a look to confirm that is also what you’re seeing: https://d.pr/i/QWnhrH

  This seems to be the issue reported to our development team in https://github.com/Automattic/wp-calypso/issues/46813

  I’ll add your thread to that case. Please consider following it by email for updates from the team.
