Lost Images
-
This has only happened in the last hour.
I received an email from WordPress re the new features with respect to linking etc.
Now, as soon as I insert an image, and then press Save Draft, the image disappears and the text either side of that image becomes centred where the image once existed.
I thought it was a problem of my own making, so I deleted the whole post, logged out, shut down my computer, started it all up again, and then started over with a complete new post.
Saved fine as the text.
Then, as soon as I inserted the image, and pressed Save Draft, the image again disappeared and the text either side centred where that image once was.
I still think it might be something I’m doing, but twice is a little disconcerting.
Is it new, or is it me?Tony.

I immediately stopped that post, and went to do another, one we take from another of our sources.
It has links. As soon as I saved those links, all works OK. Then, when I inserted the author image, and pressed save draft, the whole post turned into one solid link.
I know that’s not me.
Any clues?Tony.

There are issues with the editor at the moment. Staff are aware of the issues and are working on them.

Give it a try now. It looks like it is working again. I just did a complex code test in my test blog and everything stayed right where it was supposed to be.
