Lost Images

    I have had a WordPress website running for more than a year now. I decided to update it with the addition of some new images (I paint watercolours). This I did, but now all the old images have vanished from the page and from the media manager. What the heck do I do now? Is there a limit on the number of images I can upload? – I had about 100 in total spread over two pages.
