Lost in the land of tech feeds

Help, I am really new here. I signed up for a new blog, I paid for a domain. I have no clue how to ind it on the net or if it is even out there or how to make it go there. I wrote it so that I could have some discussions on the site but I am lost in the “go read this first” instructions. It is called divinepowerunleashed.com? I think. I am not sure what all to do. I only wrote a small paragraph and uploaded one picture to test how to make things work. I tried to add an rss feed thing and an akismet but I don’t know how to tell if any of these things are happening nor where to check if this is actually posted on the net. I would like my sister to see it and I don’t know where to send her. I realize it is Saturday and the office is closed, but on Monday I’ll be working at my day job and would really like to know how to test this stuff. Thanks. Daisy Lee

I see your blog just fine. If you don’t want to play around with a live production blog (although it’s fairly difficult to *really* break things), then sign up for another blog. Make that blog totally private and play to your hearts content. The FAQs here are a good place to start, but hands on learning is usually more productive.

I’ m with katm. You can register another blog for free and try themes, headers, uploading, whatever you want. It’s a good way to practice and still keep your regular blog.

For beginners resources, there are some good blogs:

    http://onecoolsite.wordpress.com
    http://bloggersblurt.wordpress.com
    and more advanced
    http://internetducttape
    http://lorelle.wordpress.com

You should always be able to check your blog by going to Dashboard and up on the left you’ll see Yourblogname in big white letters; right beside that is “View Blog”.
