Lost latest revisions of my post

    Hi! I don’t know how but I can’t see the latest revisions of my post. (There should be one written a day ago, but it doesn’t show anything more recent than 6 days ago). Is there a way to still recover the latest versions?

    Hi there,

    You are referring to the draft post “45 Anos…” yes? I have checked that on our end but the most recent revisions I see are from Jun 8th. Generally if there is a connection issue with your network, we may not be able to save a recent revision. But if you reopen the post in the editor, do you see a banner at the top offering to restore from a previous version?

    Yes, that’s the post. Thanks for taking a look at it! I don’t see the option to restore from a previous version.

    Thanks for confirming. I’ve taken a closer look on our end but sadly I do not see any data saved during the period you mention. Is it possible that you have this post open in more than one tab while you were working on it? Having the editor open in multiple browser windows/tabs can sometimes cause the autosave to trigger in one tab while you’re working in a different one, so it may save a copy of your post that does not reflect the changes you have made.

    Sadly there is nothing we can do to recover this content on your end, but next time you are working in the editor I would like you to check and confirm that autosave is working and that the post says Saved in the top right every few seconds after making changes.

    If not, make sure you click Save Draft manually to ensure the post or page is saving, then try clearing your browser’s cache.

    Also, if you’re writing a very long post within the editor itself, it’s a great idea to keep a backup by copying and pasting it onto your local computer somewhere, such as in a Word or text document.

    I had the same issue the week after you. No posts revisions shown from June 16 to June 23 (yesterday). I’m sure I had only one tab open. Very frustrating
