Lost Link to BlueHost Domain

We have a WordPress site hosted on BlueHost. The person who was supposed to pay for the hosting didn’t pay and we lost our Bluehost site. This has been corrected (paid) and our site was restored by them from a backup. How do we reconnect it to WordPress so we can again access our posts and our site in general. Right now, when I log into WP and go to Posts, at the top is says I published 45 posts, but below that it says ‘You haven’t created any content’. Thanks for help!

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: Yes
    Correct account: Yes

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Also, on the Pages page, it says I have 9 pages published, but none are shown below that. Thanks again.

    Hello!

Sorry to hear you’re having trouble! It seems there has been some mixup regarding managing your website, oursoutherncharmedlife.com, on WordPress.com. Let me clarify the situation for you.

Someone else purchased a WordPress.com Premium plan in June 2023 and mapped the domain to oursoutherncharmedlife.wordpress.com. However, since your website is hosted with Bluehost, this Premium plan is unnecessary. Unfortunately, it appears that your account is not associated with the site that has this plan, so we cannot delete it.

The good news is that the domain is not the primary domain on WordPress.com, so we can make some changes to set things right.

Firstly, you need to change the domain nameservers to point to your Bluehost-hosted site. If you’re unsure about what the nameservers should be, you can seek assistance from Bluehost Support.

Next, install the Jetpack plugin. Once you activate the plugin, follow the steps to connect your site to your WordPress.com user account. The errors you’re experiencing on the WordPress.com dashboard are due to Jetpack not being properly connected. If needed, you can also reach out to Bluehost Support for help with this step.

I hope this clarifies things for you! If you encounter any further difficulties, please let us know, and we’ll be glad to assist you.
