lost links on a poem page by accidentally clicking ‘latest posts’ can’t seem to undo this. Not interested in blog posts. Please help!

I accidentally clicked latest posts functions on an author page where I had links to poems. I am unable to revert back to the original page and turn of latest posts function.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I don’t want to be a post page, simply a list of poem links. If I search poems, the list appears but I want to undo the post option altogether.

From what I can see you have set the page called “Poems” to be your blog page – that means it will display your recent posts. Since there are no posts on your site, the page comes up empty.
To change that, please go to My Site>Design>Customize>Homepage Settings and choose another page as your Post Page. You can create a new page, called Blog, and choose that one.
Don’t forget to click on the blue button Publish when you’re done :)

That worked! Thank you.
I also somehow moved 3 headings under the heading of bio instead of horizontally across the top bar. How would I change that?
-
It’s mostly a drag-and-drop style system. :)
Follow this guide for details on that: https://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/

Thank you! I couldn’t figure it out. The drop-down box only had one location…I am out of my depth here. Is there a simpler explanation somewhere with less information.
-
I got as far as menu location on those direction. But the drop box for location only gave the choice of one of the headings tucked beneath and I could not figure out how to access the re-order link with the arrows to untuck things.
Does that even make sense >

If you’re on the Menus tab, click Books & Chapbooks, not on menu locations. Then you’ll see all your menu items added to that menu listed, and will be able to drag and drop them, or use the arrow buttons, to move them into the positions you want.
