Lost log in page due to site migration
-
Hi There,
I was in the process of changing our domain from www/leglasupportjobs.co.uk to http://www.legalsupportspecialists.co.uk
We have the domain on 123reg and before I finished the hosting on 123reg I updated the URL on wordpress and now I can no longer access the WP Admin
I need to add a plug in and cannot do that
Thanks,

Hi there,
Apologies, but we can’t help with your issue directly because we don’t host your site on our WordPress.com managed hosting.
To explain, we are a fully managed hosting provider and use a custom server environment that is optimized for WordPress, provides built-in security and performance improvements, as well as in-house support for your site questions. You can learn more about the performance and security benefits of our managed hosting here: https://wordpress.com/hosting/
Because of the way we’ve optimized our service, we also use a customized version of WordPress that is different (under the hood) from what you use at your current provider. It sounds like you made a URL change in your WordPress settings, but if you are able to set it back to the original address, you will be able to reconnect and see the content hosted with your current provider. WE use a different method for changing your site address on WordPress.com, so we can’t walk you through how to do that on your site.
The good news is that your hosting provider may be able to help in this instance. I recommend contacting your current provider for further assistance since they are in the best position to help.
Thanks!

Morning I need the WordPress Address (URL) and the site address (URL) on WP Admin to be changed back to http://www.legalsupportjobs.co.uk
I can only do that on WP Admin. Can WP change this for me?

Hey there,
As this site is not hosted with WordPress.com – we wouldn’t be able to help with this configuration.
You would need to contact the hosting provider to roll back the changes made there.
To check, are you able to access the site via wp-admin currently, without that change being made? The reason being is that, if yes, then a migration over to WordPress.com as outlined above would help to solve this for you.
We could put together next steps if this is of interest and get the site back up and running for you.
I hope this information is useful.
