I made a site called recruitrob.com about a year ago, but now I can’t find the site on the usual email logins I use. Is there any way for me to know which email address is associated with that domain?
Thanks!

Hi there,
According to https://www.whoishostingthis.com/#search=recruitrob.com this domain is not registered. Is this the correct URL of the site you’re trying to access?
If it was made with WordPress.com head to the support document https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/. Ask here if you have any more questions.
If it was made with WordPress.org, try logging in there first as .com and .org are two completely different sites. If after that you still can’t find your site, try https://wordpress.org/support/login-trouble/.I hope this helps!

Thank you so much for the help! I’ll try what you suggested and reply back here if I’m still stuck.
If it means anything, I’m pretty sure I made the site on wordpress (not sure if it was org or com) and then I purchased the domain with Bluehost and I guess migrated the site over there? Does this mean I can no longer access the site through wordpress, but rather have to use Bluehost?
Thanks!

Hi there @robbjdalegmailcom, It’s possible that your site was connected to this WordPress.com account via the Jetpack plugin which would enable you to manage your site via WordPress.com.
However, from looking at the ICANN WHOIS registry info, your domain was registered with Fast Domains Inc. and was hosted with BlueHost. The current nameservers are:
Nameservers:
NS1.BLUEHOST-EXPIRED.DOMAINPARKINGSERVER.NET
NS2.BLUEHOST-EXPIRED.DOMAINPARKINGSERVER.NETPlease contact Fast Domains ASAP concerning renewing your domain and BlueHost concerning recovery of your website.
Once you’ve recovered your WP site, you’ll want to check to see that the Jetpack connection is working again. Let us know how that goes.
Hi @writer0001 – whoishostingthis.com is not giving you the full information you need, as I’ve also mentioned in a couple of other threads. Try https://lookup.icann.org/lookup which is the recommendation in the Volunteer’s Guide as well. https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-com-volunteers/#tools-and-resources Best Wishes.

@justjennifer, I have tried that before, but it’s never worked for me. I even tried using my own domain names to see what the results would look like but it always comes back with the message ‘The requested domain was not found in the Registry or Registrar’s RDAP server.’. So that’s why I don’t use it.

Hm, that is curious. Can you provide an example of a custom domain name you’re using? (If you don’t want to post it here, we can try to help you troubleshoot this “elsewhere”.) Let me know.

@justjennifer, I have created a new post. @robbjdalegmailcom, sorry for any confusion I’ve caused.
