lost media files

    I cannot find any of my images on my posts.everything seems to have disappeared.I have not done any bulk deleting. Is there a way to restore my images

    Hi there @wirelesssymbiosis do you mean the images have disappeared from your site’s Media Library or do you mean they’ve disappeared from the Posts they were used in?

    If the former, then I’m afraid they are gone. Media Library files that are deleted are permanently deleted and there is no chance to recover them. Hopefully you have the originals or backups at hand so you can reupload and reinsert them in their posts.

    If you mean the images are present in your Media Library, but not appearing in the Posts where you added them, please post back here and let us know.

    Just to be sure, the site you are asking about is wirelesssymbiosis.wordpress.com, which is a Private site?
