Lost meta widget

I seem to have lost my Meta widget from both my blog and from the widget area in the dashboard. My home page is also intermittently showing that I am logged out so it would be useful to have it back. Can anyone help. Thanks in advance.

we don’t use the meta widget anymore. If you’d like, you can create a text widget with a link to wp-admin.

Hi, Thanks for coming back to me so quickly and for the link. I have that widget on my other blogs (all three of them! :)) and have had since I set up the blogs. I think the only reason it disappeared was because I was trying out some new themes last night. If it has gone it has gone. I will look into a text widget and see if I can sort it out. I think there is something strange going on with the blog anyway because it keeps logging me out and I have lost post contents. Gremlins in the works. Thanks again for your help.
