Lost more than 2000 subscribers
-
Hello,
After a wordpress update going wrong, my hosting provider did deactivate all plugins on my site.
Then I did reactive JetPack, reconnected it and… my subscribers vanished from +2’400+ to ….almost none. (it’s years of work to get these subscribers…)I don’t know how to solve the case; I looked around and did not find where are my subscribers listed and who could recover them.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi there,
With Jetpack, your stats and subscriber information is connected to a unique blog ID. Sometimes, if a site owner was using a development site or a different address when they set up Jetpack, disconnecting may create a new blog ID. When this happens, it may appear that your stats and subscribers were lost.
That said, have you used a different URL for your site before re-connecting Jetpack? -
Thanks a lot Fresatomica for your reply.
Since JetPack was installed a long time ago, it *can* be that instead of https://www.forcemajeure.com, the original url was http://www.forcemajeure…That would be the only URL change I could imagine of…
Would you know where I could check this ?
Thanks again…

Hi there,
I’ve found the site’s connection in our database and I was able to transfer the followers to your newly connected site.
If this doesn’t work or you have more questions, just let me know and I’ll be happy to help!
