And was given another name which is a series of letters and numbers and long I might add.
Well apparently it cant be changed? Why?Id like to use something other then a string of crap
noones gonna remember,can someone help me out here? -
Have you done a forum/faq search? It’s not unheard of.

Thanks Im sorry for being a little cranky, I did manage to find a way to change my name but the login info stinks Im used to having a choice guess I’m a bit spoiled that way I suppose its for security purposes which I can’t complain better to be safe.

Contact gravatar support. It’s my understanding they can change it for you. This is one of the reasons I have not signed up for a gravatar. It always borks your username.
Why? Only the gravatar gods know that for sure.

LOL what is the difference between what you have and I have?
I’m new so excuse the ignorance but I thought that this is for WordPress i’snt it all the same for everyone?
Or did I have a better choice and just didn’t know it at the time LOL which is 90% of my experience on the Internet.

My “avatar” was put in through my wordpress.com user profile over two years ago. I have never done it through gravatar.

Hi I did look at what raincoaster posted and Thank You but I apparently have the same login info for both a long string of stuff.
I don’t think It’s changeable when I try to change it on my wordpress acct. it says that its unchangeable so I guess I will have to sign up under a different email in order to fix this. -
I’m back again I’m wondering what the best alternative is to go about fixing this.
Delete my account and try again or change my email and nickname on my present account and then sign up again with my original email and use the correct info this time. Any suggestions?
Do you think this will work changing the present email and nick and resigning up? -
