Lost my domain as it was expired

Lost my site (holisticseeker.com ) as I transfer it from wordpress to wix. The domain expired which I had with wp but I thought I had it with wix. Please advise? be well and thank you for your time.

If you haven’t renewed the domain and someone else has bought it then there’s not much you can do apart from asking the current owner if it is for sale or waiting for it to expire again. If you still own the domain (and it was purchased elsewhere) but are having trouble mapping it to your WordPress.com site then have a look at the domain mapping support page.

It looks like someone already owns the domain in question, if it’s not you then I’m afraid you might be out of luck. Which company did you purchase the domain from, it might be an idea to get in touch with them to see if they can help.

Hi there,
I don’t see any evidence that you tried to transfer your domain.
Instead, your domain expired on 18 May, and was removed from our account on 30 June when you did not renew it. It is now in redemption with our registrar. If you’d tried to transfer your domain any time after 25 May it would not have been possible, as expired domains cannot be transferred once they pass a certain point.
It might still be possible to get it back at this point, but our registrar charges a $80 fee to restore a domain that is in redemption, in addition to the $26 to renew the domain. If agree to paying this fee, let me know and I can email you with the next steps.

I just paid £11 for a mapping domain- does that help?

The mapping does not do anything at this stage, no. That only works if you already own the domain itself, which you don’t at the moment.
I need to send you a manual payment link, and because of how it has to be structured I must include the full cost of the domain in that, so I’ve refunded the £11 again as I can’t credit it against the manual payment.
I’ve sent you an email with that link. As soon as I receive payment confirmation I can contact our registrar to try and recover the domain.
