lost my home page

  I deleted my home page in error. Now it says Not Found
  Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn’t here. when you first view the site. i was suing it has a website with pages only no posts. Any suggestions ? I read thru the forums but the solutions mentioned didn’t see to work
