Lost my post

    I am so upset. I just worked all night on a blog post. I have not posted in several weeks and noticed something was different. i could not find any place to save my draft as I went along. When I finished I hit publish immediately and publish. It did not publish and it is no place that I can find. Can you help? How do I use this new arrangement?

    I’m so sorry to hear that you may have lost your post!

    This can indeed happen in a couple of instances, especially if you were composing and your computer lost internet access during the composition process. However there’s a small chance that your post was not lost.

    Another cause of this behavior is the autosave feature getting confused. If you were composing your post with another tab or window open to another post, the autosave feature can sometimes save your drafts as a draft to that post instead of this one. You will want to review any other posts you may have had open and check their revision history. Your post could be saved in there.

    If it is not, then unfortunately there is nothing which can be done. No other backups were made and something went wrong during the publication process.
