Lost my stats

  I deactivated Jetpack during the processes of investigating a probable plugin conflict issue (Jetpack had nothing to do with it) and when I activated the plugin again it ‘reset’ 4 years of stats! Help please…

  It was for KP Photography Cinematography (kpstudio.gr)

  That happened because the URL of the site that was previously connected to Jetpack was dev.kpstudio.gr. Since that changed, for Jetpack it was a new site.
  I have merged the stats though so you should see the ones that disappeared now :)

  It probably happened when we went to the development environment to investigate a problem. Is there any best practice to avoid something like this in the future?

  If you manually set staging mode on the staging site, Jetpack won’t sync it as if it was the live site: https://jetpack.com/support/staging-sites/
