Lost my website

    I built a new site on a the Wix platform and pointed the site that I had built on WP to a new domain. Now, I’d like to retrieve the old site, but can’t find the contents. Is it a matter of changing the name servers or do I have to do something else? I did not back up the original site.

    Hi there, was your old site built here on WordPressdotcom? If so, unless you deleted the site, the site and its content are still available at the original xxx.wordpress.com address.

    If your site wasn’t built here on WordPressdotcom, we would not have any record of your old site content. You might be able to recover it from your previous web hosting provider or from the Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine.
