Lost my website twice, need help.

    I am using WordPress for one of my college courses. Twice, my website has been deleted after I have tried to publish new pages. Under my username: tszarka1 and Password: [redacted] it looks as though I have two sites with the same domain name, as I had to recreate it the first time it was deleted. The domain names are the same: integritycleaners2020.wordpress.com but on one of them there is absolutely no content and the other only shows the ‘About Me’ page. Before I permanently delete both of these sites to start recreating my third attempt at a website, can you offer me any assistance or explanation for why this is happening? I am way behind now in my class.

    Hi, you’ve posted in our community forums which are public and indexed by search engines. Never post sensitive information in the forum, which could be used by someone to gain access to your account.

    As far as your question, it’s not possible to have two different websites with the same address. Your one site is integritycleaners2020.wordpress.com and your second site has integrity misspelled as inyegrity. Both sites are up and running and using the twenty-nineteen theme.

    It would be highly unlikely that publishing a new page would lead to your site being deleted, since site deletion is done in an entirely different area of your site. However, I’ve flagged this thread for Staff attention.

    Good Morning y’all –

    Looking at https://integritycleaners2020.wordpress.com/ I can see that site is alive and well, not deleted. There haven’t been any significant changes made on that page for 2 weeks.

    The other site at https://inyegritycleaners2020.wordpress.com/ is also alive and well, but it’s blank. Nothing has been added to it yet.

    When you are signed in to your account, use the upper left hand corner My Sites button to toggle between which site you are working on under that account. In this case, since it looks like the second site https://inyegritycleaners2020.wordpress.com/ has a typo, and is blank, I would suggest just removing it from the account to avoid future confusion.
