Lost My Word Press Website

    Hello, I have Bluehost hosting for a WordPress blog site I have been working on. I also created a site under systeme.io. I decided to transfer the hosting/domain to my systeme.io site because I still needed to do some work on my WordPress Blog. However, when the Bluehost team transferred over the domain to systeme io I lost my WordPress blog site I was working on. How can I get my blog site back in WordPress?

    Hi there!

    To avoid any confusion, it’s important to distinguish between three different versions of “WordPress”:

    1. The free, open-source WordPress software that powers your website.
    2. WordPress.org, the open-source project where you can obtain the software for free to use on your chosen hosting provider.
    3. WordPress.com, a managed hosting provider of the WordPress software, which is the platform you are currently contacting.

    Since your site is not hosted with us, we’re limited in what we can help with and advise. But I can get you pointed in the right direction to get help.

    I recommend reaching out to Bluehost for help with this issue if you have not cancelled your hosting account. They should be able to set up a temporary URL so you can access your WordPress install with them.
