Why does my home page say not found?

  I have lost my page called ‘Home’. This now comes up as Not Found. I am also unable to deleate it so it dosen’t look good! Please help. Thanks

  HI there,

  Not to worry! You’re seeing the ‘not found’ message on the front page of your blog as a result of your reading settings (found, funnily enough, at Settings > Reading in your dashboard). You’ve currently got it set such that your front page displays your latest posts, but, you don’t have any published posts.

  So! To solve this you can do one of two things:

  1) Publish a post! This means it’ll show up on the home page instead of that message.

  2) At Settings > Reading in your dashboard you can choose to use a static pace as your front page instead. Pages can be published from Pages in your dashboard.
