lost password

I am the new marketing assistant for New View NJ. The password was lost and the email registered to the blog is for someone who no longer works here, so resetting the password by email sends the instructions to an email which is no longer current. Is there any way to rest that email to the current owner of New View NJ? Or to reset the password another way?

Please be aware that blogs do not belong to companies or organizations. The owner of the blog is the person with the username account that registered the blog. You must contact the blog owner on your own and request they make you an official user of the the blog as an Admin of the blog. Then that username account can transfer the blog to your username account.

That employee is no longer available so can WordPress customer service not reset the password?
