lost password

    I recently had an account set up by a friend of mine. Unfortunately, I cannot retrieve my password. I have several email accounts and for whatever reason none of them can be found when using the “lost password” screen. If someone can please help me that would be greatly appreciated.

    The unique identifier here at wordpress.com is the email address we use to register an account and blog with. You will have to contact whoever set up the account for you and get that information from that person.

    OOPS! I was in a hurry when I answered you and I failed to click your username. Now I have done that and the blog linked to it is not a free hosted wordpress.com blog. This support forum is only for those who have blogs being free hosted by wordpress.com.

    The correct forum for those who have free software installs from wordpress.org is here < http://wordpress.org/support However, the bottom line is the same. The person who set up your blog is the person you need to contact to find out which email address was used.
