Lost password and changed email address

    In response to comments on my last question, here’s one in a new thread as suggested.

    My site is rebeccapriestley.com which was a redirect from rebeccapriestley.wordpress.com

    The problem is that:
    – my provider discontinued my old email address
    – I therefore missed a payment reminder for rebeccapriestley.com so this site has expired
    – Rebeccapriestley.wordpress.com is set to redirect to rebeccapriestley.com, which no longer exists
    – I have forgotten my password (doh!) so can’t even log in to set up my new email address
    – I now have a gmail address that I would like to use
    – I have all the emails from WordPress to my old email address (I have access to all the old emails) so I think I can provide the needed info for authenticating me as the owner.

    What steps should I take now?

    Hi Rebecca! That’s excellent news. Also we didn’t mean to have you create a new topic — that was directed at the other person who hopped into the thread, but this is okay too.

    If you have the activation URL, can you fill out the form here?

    You can enter your current email under “What email address should we contact you at?”

    And then you can enter the activation URL in the section where you provide proof. If that still does not work, let us know.
