Lost password bug–cannot log in!

I am having difficulty as well. I go to reset my password, i get an automated email to reset. I click the link from my email. I enter my new password but when i click the submit button, i get redirected to the forgot password page.
@timethief – i followed all your instructions and cleared the cache, updated my browser, used another one etc. I am using Chrome 35 as per the article.
I have not logged into my WP account for a while. Wondering if that is the problem.

Yup. No change for me either. The maybe-fix hasn’t fixed the issue. I’m trying to reset the password for http://guardiansofcraft.wordpress.com.

Old reset links fail to reach enter password page with invalid key message while most recent link gives enter password page but fails after password entry.

You also seem to be referring to a self hosted WordPress.org site.Please provide the URL for the exact blog in question in the form of an active link starting with http://

It is a self hosted blog but it was using the Jetpack plugin which requires a wordpress.com login.
I would change it but I will lose the site stats.
The username is caintspeechtherapy
Again I receive the reset emails to the primary address.
The username is recognised and I can’t set up a new account as it says the email address already has an account. -

Hi !!! actually this is so weird, I was reading this post while looking for a solution because I had the same trouble for my new blog that I’ve made today (after only once log out –> impossible to log in, even after reset many many times the password, still have “sorry that key doesn’t exist” or idk.. but what’s more surprising is that I’ve done exactly the same thing with this old account (that I needed to write here and didn’t remember the pwd too) and where the reset worked ! can’t explain it but I wish it could work for my new blog too :( here is the url : http://valeralbri.wordpress.com/

Same here all I get after 2 days is
1: Sorry, that key does not appear to be valid
2: you’ve tried to many times try again in 30 minutes….frustration doesn’t even cover it…!

Also, if you are having issues with the password reset form still not working, please try clearing your browser cache and then try again.
