Lost password for entering WordPress.com. Several times I tried to click “Forgot your password?” the letter does not come. Help, who knows how to reset your password?

Hello, I’m sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your website. However, your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted elsewhere.
Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers. https://wordpress.org/support/ is a great resource for sites using the open source WordPress.org software, and you can find support for that at: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

I am just starting to create a website for myself and for my friend’s business. I just lay out all the blanks. Yes, I get it, I really use the WordPress.org software and figured out the difference between WordPress.org and WordPress.com.
I probably did not explain the problem well. Sorry, but my English = 0. I’m sorry, this is how life turned out.
Under 70, this is a great age for new knowledge and skills. 😀 I really like WordPress.
Here’s what happened.
I have installed the WordPress.org software on my hosting. Added a great plugin
Jetpack, and he sent me to register at https://wordpress.com/log-in/. I signed up, but the way I plan to make two sites, I registered on both. I don’t know this registration does not violate the rights of WordPress.com
And then I made a mistake on both sites I have the same name. And my passwords got messed up.
Now I can’t go to https://wordpress.com/log-in/, it says that I have the wrong password.
I really want to be there under the name iWPress, but now it’s taken by me (no password). I would be fine with the option to delete my iWPress account. But I’m stuck. -
You’re already logged in to WordPress.com, and https://iwpress.live/ is connected to your account here by way of the Jetpack plugin, there’s nothing wrong with that. :)
To be clear though, how you log in to WordPress.com and how you log in to https://iwpress.live/ are two entirely separate things.

Thank you, that’s right. I have no problem with the password on https://iwpress.live. Everything works for me there. I can’t get into my WordPress.com account (https://wordpress.com/log-in/)? And I can’t delete it.

I am currently at WordPress.com under the name iseocenter. I want to change my name to iwpress. And I took the name iwpress myself after an unsuccessful attempt to install the software.

iseocenter is the account that the site is currently connected under.
iwpress is a different account here that was registered 10 years ago. If you feel you do own that account, we have some options for you at https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/
Again, to be clear, the account system on WordPress.com and the account system on your site are two entirely separate things.

10 years ago? Of course this is not my username. There was a coincidence, and at this time I mixed up the passwords.
I am very uncomfortable in front of the person with the iwpress login. It turns out I disturbed him with my attempts to reset the password.

I imagine what you’ll think about now. :) I really want to know this for the future. I vacated my account name “iseocenter” and replaced it with “iwpresss”. You wrote to me that “iwpress” was taken 10 years ago.
After what time the name “iseocenter” will be accessible? If I need to register under the name “iseocenter” (or return to the old name). The account “iseocenter” does not exist.
