    Please be sure to check your spam filter in case the response is there. I’m sorry but here at wordpress.com your unique identifier is the email address you register your username account under. Please see here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/email-address/

    If the email is truly not in your spam basket and is a defunct email that you no longer have access to you will need to contact the staff directly and be prepared to prove you are who you say you are – http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/

    Remember also that the staff is on holiday and lightly staffed at this time so you might not receive help for a while so it would be best if you could figure out how to get to your old email account.

    Did you read what’s posted at the link I provided above?

    The e-mail address registered with your WordPress.com account is your unique identifier. You will notice that when you sign up, we do not require any other information. As such, this is how we are able to verify ownership of blogs and accounts; it is very important to remember and update it as necessary.

    If you send us a note requesting help with accessing your account/blog, we will require an e-mail from the address registered with the account. Otherwise, we cannot help. http://en.support.wordpress.com/email-address/

    @ealoromsn

    We only reset the password or change the email address if the request is coming from the original email owner.
    If you happen to have a copy of the email we sent you when you sign up, you can send us the API key listed on there – we can reset your password in that case.

    We will contact you – please reply back if you do have the API key.
