on my previous website that I made about a month ago; when customers would check out, they had the option to pay with paypal account, pay with a credit card through pay pal, or paypal bill me later. Now on my new website it only allows pay with paypal account? Can anyone help me with finding how to get the 3 options back please?

What is the URL of this website?
In what way does this question have anything to do with any free hosted WordPress.COM blog?

All of the upgrades WordPress.COM offers http://en.support.wordpress.com/category/upgrades/ apply only to free hosted WordPress.COM blogs and are not available for any other blogs hosted anywhere else at all.

Assuming you are referring to a free hosted WordPress.COM blog below are the only accepted means of payment.

WordPress.com uses PayPal as the payment processor, and as such, can only accept payment from countries they support: https://www.paypal.com/worldwide/

If for whatever reason, they have chosen to block payment from your country, you will not be able to purchase an upgrade here unless you have a source of payment outside of your country.

In addition to major credit cards Mastercard, VISA, American Express, Discover, and PayPal https://www.paypal.com/worldwide/ WordPress.com can accept echecks and some debit cards.

The debit card must have a VISA or Mastercard symbol on it, and should work just like a credit card when selecting the VISA or Mastercard option on the payment form, even though it’s a debit card.

    More about echecks here:
    https://www.paypal.com/us/webapps/helpcenter/article/?solutionId=13054&topicID=11500008&m=TCI

WordPress.com also accept Bitcoin for payment of certain upgrades ( bitcoin cannot be used for domain and premium theme purchases) – you can learn more here: http://en.blog.wordpress.com/2012/11/15/pay-another-way-bitcoin/

WordPress.com blogs cannot be equipped for ecommerce transactions with shopping carts and no blogger initiated advertising or paid or sponsored content is allowed. The only things you can sell on WP.com blogs are products that you, yourself create and/or services that you personally provide. For an online store with a shopping cart you need an independently hosted blog using WordPress.ORG software.

For selling your own creations on a free hosted WordPress.com blog see http://en.support.wordpress.com/paypal/

If and only if you are marketing only what you create and have a online shop with a shopping cart somewhere else online you can create a custom menu and add a custom link to it.

I realize that I have to contact woo commerce to get help. Since you responded to my post, ill try to clarify. .. paypal would give my customers the option to pay w/there paypal account, pay w/a credit card through paypal, or have paypal bill them later. That was on my old website that I made about a month ago. Now on my new we site “qmarketplaces24.com” there is only one option when they checkout and that is pay w/your paypal account. How do I get the other 2 options back? It seems im the only one that has encountered this problem

You are in the wrong forum, that is why you are the only one here with this issue. You need to be at WordPress.ORG for help with your blog.

  • Unknown's avatar

Ok thank you for the heads up. But since I have your attention, do you maybe know what the problem could be

  • Unknown's avatar

Yes, but I charge money to answer questions about WordPress.org blogs, and I don’t work for money on Boxing Day. You can find those answers for free over at WordPress.org.
