Lost Portfolios
-
I noticed all portfolio pages I created have are now showing a
‘Sorry, but the page you were trying to view does not exist.’
When I go to my portfolio tab on my dashboard, nothing is there and there is no Trash to access. I have the links for every Portfolio page I created and it totals 66. This is a site for a public art event that catalogs artist projects and performances.
Our site was having an issue with the JetPack plugin and all forums directed me to delete the Jetpack plugin and reinstall it. I am wondering if that had anything to do with it, or if these somehow got deleted through a different source.
I would think there should be a back up or older version I could restore the site too, but I can’t find it. This project has been worked on since 2019 and I have never had an issue with things being completely deleted – especially when the page/portfolio was not actively being worked on.
Any help would be great, I have dug through many forums on many sites and haven’t been able to find a direct answer or direct access to customer support for help.

Hello there!
Thank you for reaching out to the free support forums for websites hosted on WordPress.com. However, since your site is not hosted with us, our ability to assist and provide advice may be limited. Nevertheless, I can certainly guide you in the right direction to seek help.
If you were using the Portfolio feature from the Jetpack plugin and you have deleted and reinstalled it, the first step is to reactivate the Portfolio feature. The data should still be present in your WordPress database, but it won’t be visible in the wp-admin area until you re-enable the Portfolio feature. To do this, navigate to Jetpack → Settings → Writing in your WordPress Dashboard and toggle on the Portfolio option under Custom Content Types.
If you continue to encounter difficulties, please contact Jetpack Support for further assistance. If you have a paid plan, you can reach them at https://jetpack.com/contact-support/?rel=support. Alternatively, if you do not have a paid plan, you can seek help at https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack/.
I hope this information proves helpful to you.
