Lost post

  Hi, I was just looking through some old posts and noticed one was missing. I didn’t delete this and it was definitely there for a while as people made comments on it and I received email notifications. I have the url for it but when I click it, it says oops page not found. The blog I need help with is nickandsathya.wordpress.com and the url which no longer works is http://wp.me/s8Q8DV-kyoto

  If I am not able to recover this, can I do a post and back date it so it appears in the correct order?

  Did you look through your drafts and trash when searching for the missing post?

  If I am not able to recover this, can I do a post and back date it so it appears in the correct order?

  Yes, you can create the same post, if you are not able to recover it, and add the past date, when it was originally posted, and it will show in the old order.
  Do you remember the exact date when the post was originally created?

  Hi baldfreud,

  Yes, I looked through drafts, binned and scheduled and there was nothing under those. It was published on Oct 19 2017 and I have the email notification of the post so I can replicate and re-post but it’s a bit annoying!

  Does this happen often?

  There were two posts. That one and the one that’s gone missing called ‘Kyoto’.
