  In the blog Nine in Nicaragua we spent time creating a post entitled Mucho Mombacho. We entered text and uploaded photos and it was auto saving and then it just disappeared. It is not showing up in the trash or the history. HELP! I do not want to re-create it. Thanks! Jess

  I am afraid you will have to do just that. There is a bug going around, particularly on long posts, whereby no matter what the autosave says it is doing, it doesn’t save it. This is particularly the case when the post was created using the New Post button of the admin bar or the newish “Dashboard lite” or whatever they’re calling it. To avoid this problem, either use an offline blog editor like Windows Live Writer, or use the New Post button from the main dashboard of your blog, always.
