Hey there, Trisha,
Could you please tell me about the post you lost? What time/day did it disappear? What was the title?
Thanks much! I’ll look into this for you asap.

It was this morning started around 9 lost around 11am on the 15th. It was a title regarding “hunting dinosaurs”, but at this point I have forgotten how I worded it.
It is due by the weekend.Thank you for your help

Hello there!
While the new editor autosaves, we’re wondering if this morning’s Windows download/adjustment interfered with that function. We don’t have any record of that post on our servers at all.
However, some smart folks here suggested you look to see if your text *might* be found in your local cache. It’s possible it could still be on your computer somewhere. Following are the instructions they wanted me to pass along to you.
First, take a look at this link:
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/16688370/how-to-view-the-localstorage-into-iexplorer-10It appears as if the answer with the green checkmark theoretically tells somebody how to find localStorage in Internet Explorer, and localStorage might have a copy of the post.
You can follow those instructions and see if anything appears in the console
In case this is confusing, here’s a screencast one of my colleagues made to walk you through the process:
https://cloudup.com/cml4fCEJBmJPlease let me know how this goes. I’m really hoping you’ve got the text saved locally so you don’t have to start from scratch. Sending my best.

This is why I did not want to upgrade… Very frustrTing to learn on the fly. My screen does not look like the one in the video you provided. Thank you anyway. Sent from my iPhone

I’m so sorry. I’m not sure why Windows decided you should upgrade at that moment.
If you’d like, you can always use the classic editor that you used before your time away from your blog:
