Lost post and lost revision

I spent 4 hours today writing a post. It was done, I went on my iPad to fix a picture. I didn’t realize it was opened to a version of the post from 3 days ago. I changed the picture, saved the post, and refreshed on my laptop. The entire post I’d wrote today was gone, reverted to the one from 3 days ago. I checked on revisions but because I’d saved on my iPad, it saved the revisions from 3 days ago. Pleeasse someone tell me there’s a way to get it back??!?

  • Hi –

I’ll be happy to take a closer look. What is the post in question?

Hi there, the post is a draft, it’s called “The Metric Tensor and the Lorentz Group.” Can you view it, do I need to give access somehow?

  • @ivanbegic I’m sorry, I just see a few revisions on this post. I do see another draft that seems to be similar though.

Can you look at all recent stuff at wordpress.com/post, and its revisions, to see if you can find your work?

Also, what browser or device were you using to write the recent work before the issue with the iPad?
