Lost posts
-
7 years ago I created some posts on WordPress, and I also moved some ‘Blogspot’ posts over to WordPress. WordPress tells me I have no posts…..can I retrieve my writing?

Your account christine6d1874ec5d is only 10 months old so it cannot be connected to a 7 year old site. You must log out from current and log in again to the account owning your site.

Go to your old site and see if you can find the account name. Or write a comment on the site and see in the email who came it from.
To restore access to that account, just follow instructions at https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/ -
Hmm. If I could ‘go to my old site’, then I wouldn’t have a problem? I will try the link you gave – I appreciate your trying to help.

So I have reset my password, and I’m still logged in as someone who has no ‘sites’.
Where are my old posts? Last year I had a Facebook memory pop up, with a link to one of my posts – when I clicked on the link there was nothing there.
I wrote my posts in 2013. I was aware of WordPress changing at some point in the past 7 years, but I presumed my writing would be safe.

You are still logged in to the wrong account christine6d1874ec5!
What is the URL of your ‘lost’ site? -

What was the link that was shared on Facebook? That should help us be able to do some detective work.

I went through Facebook last night and the only link I could find was actually for my previous blog, on blogspot.
Are WordPress blogs not connected to the email address?
-
WordPress.com blogs are connected to an email login. As long as you hosted at WordPress.com and login the same way, you’ll get to your blogs. This account was created last January. You would have logged in a different way with a different email if you had a 7 year old account also. Any chance of another login?
