Lost posts!

    I just renewed my doman, Innovativesavings.net, (4 weeks late, the warning went to an old email), through WP.com and now that I’m able to access the site again I now see that all posts between the present back to the end of 2011 are gone. In fact, under the “Show All Dates” pulldown it only shows months for 2011.

    Why??

    Hi there,

    I dug around a bit and it looks like your domain is pointing towards a WordPress.org self-hosted site which has some posts from as recent as maybe May of this year (condolences on the passing of your father. I’m actually from a long line of Phoenicians myself. Hardy bunch!). In our system, in WordPress.com, it looks like the most recent post was from 2011.

    So it looks like you had at some point set your domain to be pointed to some old hosting and when it expired it got pointed back towards your site with us. The good news is that it’s back up!
