Lost revisions

    I worked for quite a while on a blog post, then saved it and posted it. When I went into my blog page to view it, half of the post was deleted. When I check in the revisions, it doesn’t show the lost content in any of the revisions.
    How do I get this content back? Please don’t say, “by viewing the revisions and restoring them”. The content I lost is not there.

    Hi there,

    This type of thing can sometimes happen if you have another post open for editing in another tab or window. The autosave features in each window compete with each other and your content ends up getting saved in the revisions of the other post.

    If there is no other post which you were working on, then there may not be anything which can be done. The autosave feature should have saved the entire thing, however if it is not present there or in another post then there’s nowhere else to retrieve it from I’m afraid.
