When a sidebar falls it’s because the layout has been “br0ken” (exceeded by the insertion of an oversized image or block of copy pasted text. Reduce the number of posts on your front page temporarily to one and look throiugh one at a time to find what you need to remove or fix.

The W3C XHTML validator is showing 69 errors on your main page.

Go to settings > writing and select “WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically” and click “save changes.”

Next open each post on your main blog page, make one minor change such as adding a space and then deleting it, and then click “update post. WordPress should automatically correct any HTML issues in the posts and fix the issue.

I tried changing the XHTML and did not seem to do anything. Maybe it just took a little time. I then removed everything in the sidebar and then put back those widgets I wanted. Seems OK now,

    Thanks guys.

In some instances after the change and procedure I offered, you have to clear your browser cache and restart your browser. Some browsers will tenaciously hang on to and use cached pages. IE is famous for this, and I’ve noticed FF is becoming more that way all the time.
