lost Site

  I have managed to delete my blog site – the itinerant church goer, which was not my intention at all. I tried to change the domain name, as it is listed as shychurch goer. Even though my website is actually Itinerantchurchgoer. And now it seems to have gone. Can you retrieve it for me, or tell me how to retrieve it?

  theshychurchgoer.wordpress.com is no longer available.
  The authors have deleted this site.

  Although I can’t quite work out what you are trying to do I have added the modlook tag to ask if a member of staff could recover your other site (which can be done as long as it was deleted less than 30 days ago).

  This is the site address that is showing up as removed – https://theshychurchgoer.wordpress.com/.

  So how do I get the one that I have changed to theitinerantchurchgoer to show up when I type this in? At the moment, it is bringing up the old name.

  Please clarify. Do you want your deleted site recovering or is the issue that Google hasn’t yet noticed the changes you’ve made?

  Before I make any changes I want to clarify which address you want visitors to see. It sounds like you want us to restore the deleted site, https://theshychurchgoer.wordpress.com/ Is that correct?

  No, the address with shy’ at the start is the one I have closed and the one that I want to remain closed. The one that I want Google to recognize and front-line as it were is this:

  https://theitinerantchurchgoer.wordpress.com/

  But when I type it into Google, it does not show up. So please can you instate this one for me?

  Hi there, when your website will appear on Google searches is out of the control of WordPress.com. However, WordPress.com have published some tips to help it appear more quickly: https://en.support.wordpress.com/seo/

  Hi @emmarosebarber, I’ve restored the name, theshychurchgoer.wordpress.com. As you can see, the site is blank.

  It’ll take a little work, but if you’d like, you can export the content from the new site, and import it back into the old site:
